Secure payment
For the security of your payments, we use SYSTEMPAY, the card payment solution developed by our bank BANQUE POPULAIRE.
After choosing your type of bank card, you will be connected to our secure payment server. You will then simply need to enter your card number, its expiry date and its security code (excluding Bancontact).
Payment is fully secured through the online payment system of our banking partner: BANQUE POPULAIRE. Your banking data only travels over the Internet in encrypted form, meaning it is encoded so as to be completely unreadable. Furthermore, it is processed only by the bank and is never in the possession of MANIAC-AUTO. Indeed, when you enter your card number to make purchases on the MANIAC-AUTO website, you are in reality transmitting them to BANQUE POPULAIRE.
Technical details: The security system is based on SSL 3 encryption (Secure Socket Layer). Encryption is entirely handled by SIPS (Secure Internet Payment Service by Atos). This payment solution is the most widely used in France for online payments.
The BANQUE POPULAIRE payment interface uses 3D Secure technology. This is a system designed to authenticate bank cardholders and thus prevent any fraudulent use of their cards. In addition to the card number, expiry date and security code, with the 3D Secure system, the cardholder must authenticate themselves on their bank's interface, to which they are automatically redirected, by entering a code or personal information previously sent to them by their bank. Once authenticated, the cardholder will see their transaction authorized or declined by their bank.
