Description
The Thermo Trapez Soft Yellow pad is an exceptionally manufactured pad, dedicated to finishing work. ZviZZer needs no introduction when it comes to the quality and durability of their polishing foams. A current worldwide reference.
The build quality is evident in the strength of the hook-and-loop on one hand, with a very strong adhesive between the foam and the interface. Also, the trapezoidal cut is perfectly shaped and chamfered for greater durability. The honeycomb and aerated foam structure also ensures perfect heat distribution. The central hole in the pad also allows excess heat to dissipate during use.
Unlike the other foam pad families from the brand ZviZZer (AllRounders), this Trapez version does not have the additional rubber interface between the hook-and-loop and the foam.
The Thermo foam used in this pad is very special and allows it to resist deformation under pressure, while preventing the pad from softening and completely losing performance. This Thermo foam, which equips all ZviZZer foam pads, delivers considerably greater performance and pad durability (up to 3 to 4 times longer than a similar pad in traditional foam).
ZviZZer uses a registered and protected color code system specific to their pad range, to perfectly identify which polish should be used with which pad and also potentially with which drying microfiber. Thus, Thermo Trapez Soft Yellow can be used with ZviZZer Fine Cut Hologram Remover (FC 2000) polish or any other finishing polish from another brand.
The fineness of the foam on this finishing pad will ensure an impeccable finish even on the most delicate and difficult paint shades (high gloss direct, solid finish, etc.). It will be the perfect pad to use after a pass with the ZviZZer Pink or Orange pad with their associated polishes, for example.

How do you use the ZviZZer Thermo Trapez Soft Yellow pad?
- Choose the pad size according to your backing plate size (e.g. a 125/140mm ZviZZer size will fit a 125mm/5' machine backing plate).
- Center your pad on the backing plate.
- Apply a large dollop of polish (e.g. Fine Cut Hologram Remover FC 2000) directly onto the surface or several small dollops onto the pad.
- Spread your polish quickly at low speed over an area no larger than 60x60cm.
- Then work the polish at low speed (4 on dual-action or gear-driven polishers) using slow, straight passes.
- Finish your work when the residual polish haze is very thin, almost transparent.
- Wipe off your polish with a suitable microfiber (e.g. Microfibre Cloth Yellow) after using a Clean Top pad (alcohol-based).
- Inspect your finish, then apply a protective wax.
Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner to keep the foam completely free of polish dust. Your work and results will be much better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, massage the pad between your fingers, then wipe everything with a microfiber or run the pad through a Pad Washer.
