Description
The Thermo Trapez Ultra Hard Blue pad by ZviZZer is an exceptionally crafted pad, dedicated to the most intensive correction work (deep scratches, hard clear coats, recovery of polish-buffed finishes).
ZviZZer needs no introduction when it comes to the quality and durability of their polishing foams. A current world reference.
The quality of craftsmanship is felt through the solidity of the hook-and-loop on one hand, with a very strong adhesive between the foam and the backing plate. Also, the trapezoidal cut is perfectly shaped and chamfered for greater durability. The honeycomb, aerated foam structure also ensures perfect heat distribution. The central hole in the pad also allows excess heat to dissipate during work.
Unlike the other foam pad families from the brand ZviZZer (AllRounders), this Trapez version does not have the additional rubber interface between the hook-and-loop and the foam.
The Thermo foam used in this pad is very special and allows it to resist deformation under pressure, while preventing the pad from softening and completely losing performance. This Thermo foam, which equips all ZviZZer foam pads, allows for a considerable gain in performance and pad durability (up to 3 to 4 times greater compared to a similar pad in traditional foam).
ZviZZer uses a registered and protected color code for their pad range, very specific, to perfectly identify which polish should be used with which pad, and also potentially with which wiping microfiber. Thus, the Thermo Trapez Ultra Hard Blue can be used with the compound ZviZZer Pre Cut Deep Scratch Remover (PC 5000) or any other compound from another brand.
The density and resistance of the foam in this heavy correction pad will allow intensive polishing work to be completed without the pad running out of steam. The hardest clear coats on the market can be corrected without issue with this pad.

How to use the Thermo Trapez Ultra Hard Blue pad?
- Select the correct pad size according to your backing plate (e.g., a 125/140mm size from ZviZZer will fit a 125mm/5' machine backing plate).
- Center your pad on your backing plate.
- Apply a large pea-sized drop of polish (e.g., Pre Cut Deep Scratch Remover (PC5000)) directly onto the surface or a few pea-sized drops onto the pad.
- Spread your polish quickly at low speed over an area no larger than 60x60cm.
- Then work your polish at high speed (speed 6 on a dual action or rotary-orbital) using slow, overlapping straight passes.
- Finish your pass when the residual polish film is very thin, almost translucent.
- Wipe off your polish with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g., Microfibre Cloth Blue) using an application of Clean Top (alcohol-based panel wipe)
- Inspect your finish and follow up with a protective wax.
Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner solution to keep your foam completely free of polish dust. Your work and results will be significantly better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, massage the pad between your fingers, then wipe thoroughly with a microfiber towel or run the pad through a Pad Washer.
