Description
The Thermo Trapez Medium Pad Orange is a pad of exceptional craftsmanship, dedicated to moderate correction work while guaranteeing a decent level of finish. ZviZZer needs no introduction when it comes to the quality and durability of their polishing foams. A current world reference.
The quality of craftsmanship is felt through the strength of the hook-and-loop backing on one hand, with a very resistant adhesive between the foam and the interface. Also, the trapezoidal cut is perfectly shaped and chamfered for greater durability. The honeycomb and aerated foam structure also ensures perfect heat distribution. The central hole in the pad also allows excess heat to dissipate during use.
Unlike the other foam pad families from the ZviZZer (AllRounders) brand, this Trapez version does not have the additional rubber interface between the backing plate and the foam.
The Thermo foam used in this pad is very special and allows it to resist deformation under pressure, while preventing the pad from softening and completely losing performance. This Thermo foam equipping all ZviZZer foam pads considerably improves performance and pad durability (up to 3 to 4 times greater compared to another similar pad in traditional foam).
ZviZZer uses a registered and protected color code for their pad range, very specific, to perfectly identify which polish should be used with which pad and also potentially with which wiping microfiber. Thus, the Thermo Trapez Medium Pad Orange can be used with the ZviZZer Medium Cut One Step (MC 3000) polish or any other intermediate polish. The advantage of this Medium Allrounder Orange / Medium Cut One Step (MC 3000) combination is the excellent correction/finish balance, particularly for "Car Staging" type work in a single pass.
The fairly soft foam of this pad will ensure a very decent finish even on the most delicate and difficult colors to work with (direct gloss, solid finish, etc.). A pure finishing pass with a Yellow or Green pad from the brand will be required for a perfect finish.
A pad of very high quality, durable and versatile as it can be used with an orbital or rotary machine, ensuring an excellent cut/finish balance in all circumstances.

How to use the ZviZZer Thermo Trapez Medium Pad Orange?
- Always choose the pad size to match your backing plate (e.g. a 125/140 mm size from ZviZZer will suit a 125 mm/5" machine backing plate).
- Center your pad on the backing plate.
- Apply a generous amount of polish (e.g. Medium Cut One Step) directly onto the backing plate or a few drops onto the pad.
- Spread your polish quickly at low speed over an area no larger than 60×60 cm.
- Then work your polish at high speed (5–6 on an orbital or rotary-orbital polisher) using slow, straight-line passes.
- Finish your work when the residual polish haze is very thin, almost transparent.
- Remove your polish with a suitable microfiber (e.g. Microfibre Cloth Orange) using a Clean Top pad (alcohol-based)
- Check your finish and then apply a protective wax.
Tip: Remember to regularly clean your pad with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner solution to keep the foam perfectly free of polish dust. Your work and results will be significantly better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, work it in with your fingers, then wipe everything off with a microfiber or run the pad through a pad washer.

- Always clean your pad regularly with Pad Cleaner
- Never leave an object or tool resting on the pad.
- Never clean a pad in a washing machine.
- Always pull gently on the hook-and-loop backing to remove the pad from the backing plate.
