Description
The Thermo Trapez Hard Pad Red by ZviZZer stands out for its exceptional build quality, designed for intensive correction work, including on the hardest clear coats. ZviZZer is a world reference for the durability and performance of its polishing foams, and this pad is no exception.
The quality of craftsmanship is felt through the strength of the hook-and-loop backing on one hand, with a very resistant adhesive between the foam and the interface. Also, the trapezoidal cut is perfectly shaped and chamfered for greater durability. The honeycomb and aerated foam structure also ensures perfect heat distribution. The central hole in the pad also allows excess heat to dissipate during use.
Unlike the other foam pad families from the ZviZZer (AllRounders) brand, this Trapez version does not have the additional rubber interface between the backing plate and the foam.
The Thermo foam used is specially formulated to resist deformation under pressure, without softening, ensuring consistent performance throughout the correction process. This exclusive ZviZZer technology significantly increases pad durability, up to three to four times greater than a conventional foam.
ZviZZer has established an exclusive color code to identify optimal combinations between pad, polish and microfiber. The Thermo Trapez Hard Pad Red pairs ideally with the ZviZZer Heavy Cut Scratch Remover (HC 4000) polish or any other compound for heavy correction work.
With its very dense foam, this pad is designed to withstand high pressure and correct marked defects, even on the most challenging surfaces, such as German clear coats renowned for their hardness.

How do you use the ZviZZer Thermo Trapez Hard Pad Red?
- Choose the right pad size for your backing plate (e.g., a 140/20/125 mm size from ZviZZer is suitable for a 125 mm/5" machine backing plate).
- Center your pad on your backing plate.
- Apply a large dime-sized drop of polish (e.g., Heavy Cut Scratch Remover HC 4000) directly to the surface or a few pea-sized drops onto the pad.
- Spread your polish quickly and at low speed over an area no larger than 60x60 cm.
- Then work your polish at high speed (speed 6 on a dual-action or forced-rotation polisher) using slow, straight passes.
- Finish your pass when the residual polish film is very thin, almost clear.
- Wipe off the polish with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g., Microfibre Cloth Red) using a mist of Clean Top (alcohol-based).
- Inspect your finish and follow up with a protective wax.
Tip: Remember to regularly clean your pad with the ZviZZer Pad Cleaner solution to keep your foam completely free of polish residue. Your workflow and results will be much better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, work it in with your fingers, then wipe clean with a microfiber towel or run the pad through a Pad Washer.

- Never leave an object or tool resting on the pad.
- Never wash a pad in a washing machine.
- Always pull gently on the hook-and-loop backing to remove the pad from the backing plate.
