The Thermo Pad Green from ZviZZer's professional range has been specifically designed for professionals in terms of performance. This pad stands out for its exceptional build quality, designed for intensive correction work, including on the hardest paintwork. ZviZZer is a global reference for the robustness and performance of its polishing foams, and this pad is no exception.

Compared to the Detailing range, this green heavy correction pad (Cutting pad) would be equivalent to a pink or blue pad.

The build quality is felt in the strength of the hook-and-loop on one hand, with a very resistant adhesive between the foam and the interface. Also, the trapezoidal cut is perfectly trimmed and chamfered for greater durability. The honeycomb and open-cell foam structure also ensures perfect heat distribution. The central hole in the pad also allows for dissipation of excess heat during work.

This version cut into a trapezoidal shape does not feature the additional rubber interface between the hook-and-loop and the foam.

The Thermo foam used is specially formulated to resist deformation under pressure, without softening, ensuring consistent performance throughout the correction process. This exclusive ZviZZer technology significantly increases pad durability, up to three to four times greater than a conventional foam.

ZviZZer has implemented an exclusive color code for its professional range (Green/Blue/Black), in order to limit references as much as possible so as not to confuse professional users looking for simplicity and performance.

Thus, to identify the optimal combinations between pad and polish, you simply need to use the same color for the pad/polish combination.

How to use the professional ZviZZer Thermo Pad Green?

  1. Be sure to choose the pad size according to your backing plate (e.g., a 140/20/125 mm ZviZZer pad fits a 125mm/5' machine backing plate).
  2. Center your pad on your backing plate.
  3. Apply a dime-sized drop of polish (e.g., ZviZZer HC 1500 Heavy Cut) directly onto the panel or a few pea-sized drops onto the pad.
  4. Spread your polish quickly at low speed over an area no larger than 60x60cm.
  5. Then work your polish at high speed (speed 6 on a DA or gear-driven DA) using slow, overlapping straight passes.
  6. Finish your work when the residual polish film is very thin, almost clear.
  7. Wipe off your polish with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g., Microfibre Cloth Red) using an alcohol-based wipe-down spray like Clean Top
  8. Inspect your finish and follow up with a protective wax or sealant.

Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner to keep your foam completely free of polish residue. Your work and results will be significantly better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, massage the pad between your fingers, then wipe thoroughly with a microfiber towel or run the pad through a Pad Washer such as the Lake Country System 4000 Pad Washer.
