Description

The Thermo Pad Black (PRO Finishing) pad is an exceptionally crafted pad dedicated to professionals, for pure finishing work or wax and glaze application. ZviZZer needs no introduction when it comes to the quality and robustness of their polishing foams. A current global reference.

The build quality is felt in the strength of the hook-and-loop on one hand, with a very resistant adhesive between the foam and the interface. Also, the trapezoidal cut is perfectly trimmed and chamfered for greater durability. The honeycomb and open-cell foam structure also ensures perfect heat distribution. The central hole in the pad also allows for dissipation of excess heat during work.

Compared to the Detailing range, this black finishing pad would be equivalent to a yellow or green pad.

This version cut into a trapezoidal shape does not feature the additional rubber interface between the hook-and-loop and the foam.

The Thermo foam used in this pad is very particular and allows it to resist deformation under pressure, while preventing the pad from softening and losing performance entirely. This Thermo foam, which equips all foam ZviZZer pads, significantly improves performance and pad durability (up to 3 to 4 times greater compared to another similar pad in traditional foam).

ZviZZer has implemented an exclusive color code for its professional range (Green/Blue/Black), in order to limit references as much as possible so as not to confuse professional users looking for simplicity and performance.

Thus, to identify the optimal combinations between pad and polish, you simply need to use the same color for the pad/polish combination.

How do you use the professional pad ZviZZer Thermo Pad Black (PRO Finishing) ?

  1. Choose the pad size according to your backing plate size (e.g., a 140/20/125 mm ZviZZer pad will fit a 125mm/5' machine backing plate).
  2. Center your pad on the backing plate.
  3. Apply a large dollop of polish (e.g., ZviZZer HR 6000 Hologram Remover) directly onto the surface or several small dollops onto the pad.
  4. Spread your polish quickly at low speed over an area no larger than 60x60cm.
  5. Then work the polish at medium speed (4 on a dual-action or gear-driven dual-action polisher) using slow, straight passes.
  6. Finish your work when the residual polish film is very thin, almost transparent.
  7. Wipe off your polish with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g., Microfibre Cloth Red) using a small amount of Clean Top (alcohol-based).
  8. Inspect your finish, then apply a protective wax.

Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner cleaning solution to keep the foam completely free of polish dust. Your work and results will be much better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, massage the pad between your fingers, then wipe everything with a microfiber towel or use a Pad Washer such as the Lake Country System 4000 Pad Washer.
