The Thermo Pad Blue (PRO Medium) from the ZviZZer professional range has been specifically designed for professionals in terms of performance. This pad stands out for its exceptional build quality, designed for "One-Step" work, meaning correction in a single pass, for common everyday defects such as micro-scratches, etc. ZviZZer is a world reference for the robustness and performance of its polishing foams, and this pad is no exception.

Compared to the Detailing range, this intermediate blue pad (Medium Cut) would be equivalent to an orange or yellow pad.

The build quality is evident in the strength of the hook-and-loop fastener, with a very strong adhesive between the foam and the interface. Also, the trapezoidal cut is perfectly shaped and chamfered for greater durability. The cellular and aerated foam structure also ensures perfect heat distribution. The central hole in the pad also allows excess heat to dissipate during use.

This trapezoidal cut version does not feature the additional rubber interface between the hook-and-loop fastener and the foam.

The Thermo foam used is specially formulated to resist deformation under pressure without softening, ensuring consistent performance throughout the correction process. This exclusive ZviZZer technology significantly increases the pad's durability, up to three to four times greater than a standard foam.

ZviZZer has implemented an exclusive color code for its professional range (Green/Blue/Black), to minimize the number of references and avoid overwhelming professional users seeking simplicity and performance.

Thus, to identify the optimal combinations between pad and polish, you simply need to use the same color for the pad/polish combination.

How do you use the professional ZviZZer Thermo Pad Blue (PRO Medium) pad?

  1. Choose the pad size according to your backing plate size (e.g. a 140/20/125 mm ZviZZer pad will fit a 125mm/5' machine backing plate).
  2. Center your pad on the backing plate.
  3. Apply a large dollop of polish (e.g.: ZviZZer OS 3000 One Step) directly onto the backing plate or several small dollops onto the pad.
  4. Spread the polish quickly at low speed over an area no larger than 60x60cm.
  5. Then work the polish at high speed (6 on a dual-action or rotary polisher) using slow, straight passes.
  6. Finish your work when the residual polish film is very thin, almost transparent.
  7. Wipe off the polish with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g.: Microfibre Cloth Red) using a Clean Top pad (alcohol-based)
  8. Inspect your finish, then apply a protective wax.

Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner to keep the foam completely free of polish dust. Your work and results will be much better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, massage the pad between your fingers, then wipe everything with a microfiber towel or use a Pad Washer such as the System 4000 Pad Washer by Lake Country.
