Description
The THERMO MINI Ultra Hard Cut Foam Pad Blue is a mini pad of exceptional manufacture, dedicated to very heavy correction work on the most significant defects you may encounter.
ZviZZer needs no introduction when it comes to the quality and durability of their polishing foams. A current worldwide reference.
The build quality is evident in the strength of the hook-and-loop on one hand, with a very strong adhesive between the foam and the hook-and-loop. The honeycomb and aerated foam structure (known as open-cell) also ensures perfect heat distribution.
This mini pad is designed for use with a micro-machine such as a Dremel with a mini backing plate or the Autotriz Nano Polisher 3.0.
Once equipped with this THERMO MINI Ultra Hard Cut Foam Pad, your tool will allow you to reach the most difficult areas such as logo interiors, lettering, wheel spokes, etc.
The Thermo foam used in this mini pad is very special and allows it to resist deformation under pressure, while preventing the pad from softening and completely losing performance. This Thermo foam, which equips all ZviZZer foam pads, delivers considerably greater performance and pad durability (up to 3 to 4 times longer than a similar pad in traditional foam).
ZviZZer uses a registered and protected color code system specific to their pad range, to perfectly identify which polish should be used with which pad and also potentially with which drying microfiber. Thus, this THERMO MINI Ultra Hard Cut Foam Pad Blue can be used with ZviZZer Pre Cut (PC5000) polish or any other correction or intensive polish from another brand.
The very rigid foam of this pad will ensure very heavy correction even on the most delicate and difficult paint shades (high gloss direct, solid finish, etc.). A pure finishing pass with a Yellow or Green pad from the brand will be required for a perfect finish.

How do you use the THERMO MINI Ultra Hard Cut Foam Pad?
- Be sure to choose the mini pad size that matches your backing plate (e.g., a 25mm ZviZZer pad is suitable for a 25mm or smaller machine backing plate).
- Center your mini pad on your backing plate.
- Apply a small pea-sized drop of polish (e.g., Pre Cut PC 5000) directly onto the pad.
- Spread your polish quickly at low speed over a restricted work area.
- Then work your polish at high speed (1500 rpm). Be careful not to apply excessive pressure on sharp edges and body lines.
- Finish your pass when the residual polish film is very thin, almost transparent.
- Wipe off your polish with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g., Microfibre Cloth Bleue) using an alcohol-based wipe-down spray like Clean Top
- Check your finish, then apply a protective wax or sealant.
Pro Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner solution to keep your foam completely free of spent polish residue. Your workflow and results will be significantly better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, work it in by hand, and then wipe everything off with a microfiber towel or run the pad through a Pad Washer.
