Koch-Chemie Ceramic Glass Cg0.01 is a ceramic glass treatment designed specifically for exterior vehicle glass. It complements the KCX Protection Unit range alongside Ceramic Neo for paint and Plast Shield for plastics.

By changing the glass’s surface properties, it creates pronounced hydrophobicity and causes droplets to run off quickly. As a result, from around 50 km/h, airflow drives rain off the glass, providing significantly improved visibility and reducing the need to use the windshield wipers.

Dirt and insect residue also adhere much less readily to treated glass, making window cleaning quicker and easier day to day.

Its fluorine-free, PFAS-free formula combines performance with a more responsible approach. For best results, Koch-Chemie recommends preparing the glass with Glass PrePolish.

How to use Koch-Chemie Ceramic Glass Cg0.01
1. Clean the glass: thoroughly wash the windows to remove dirt and road film.
2. Prepare the glass: treat the surface with Glass PrePolish to remove residue and old protective treatments.
3. Dry: make sure the glass is completely clean, dry, and cool before application.
4. Apply: spread the product thinly and evenly with a suitable applicator, using crosshatched passes.
5. Let flash: allow approximately 12 minutes of flash time.
6. Buff: wipe thoroughly with a soft microfiber cloth until the glass is clear and free of residue.
7. Let cure: avoid using the surface for 24 hours; full curing takes 5 days.
Tip: work on one window at a time and check for streaks against the light before moving to the next.
Tip: replace worn windshield wiper blades after treatment, as they could prematurely damage the protective layer.
