Koch-Chemie Plast Shield is a protective coating for unpainted exterior plastics. It is part of the KCX Protection Unit range, alongside Ceramic Neo for paint and Ceramic Glass for glass.

Sun, rain, road salt and repeated washing quickly dull unpainted plastics. Plast Shield works in two ways: it revives and deepens their color for a near-new appearance and forms a durable protective layer on the surface.

Treated plastics become highly hydrophobic: water beads up, dirt adheres less readily, and maintenance becomes much easier. Its durability clearly sets it apart from conventional dressings.

Apply it to bumpers, rocker panels, mirror housings, surrounds and all other unpainted exterior plastic components.

How to use Koch-Chemie Plast Shield
1. Clean the plastics: thoroughly clean the surfaces with a suitable cleaner to remove dirt and old products.
2. Dry: make sure the plastic is clean, free of residue, and completely dry.
3. Apply: spread Plast Shield evenly with an applicator sponge.
4. Let flash: wait approximately 12 minutes.
5. Remove excess: if necessary, wipe off excess product with a coating microfiber cloth.
6. Let cure: do not subject the surface to mechanical stress for 24 hours.
Tip: mask adjacent paint with masking tape for a clean, quick application.
Tip: for maintenance, avoid highly acidic or alkaline cleaners and opt for gentle washing.
