Description
ZviZZer Pre Cut (PC5000) is the hardest polish (Hard Compound) you can find in the ZviZZer range, designed to tackle the most significant defects you can find on clear coats, including the hardest ones (deep scratches, correction of polished-buffed finishes, etc.)
Its correction grit is truly very significant and the concentration of aluminum oxide (abrasive power) is well above other ultra compounds generally encountered. Pre Cut (PC5000) will thus be capable of working from P1200 grit without having to refine your grit.
However, the finish will not be perfect — you will need to refine your polishing with an intensive polish such as the ZviZZer Medium Cut MC3000 to achieve a perfect finish.
Like all water-based polishes in the ZviZZer range, Pre Cut (PC5000) will produce very little dust. It will be worked for slightly less time than other polishes in the range given the quantity of abrasives it contains.
Although initially conceived for use with the very rigid blue pad, according to the characteristic ZviZZer color code, you can nevertheless use Pre Cut (PC5000) with all other hard pads in the range such as microfiber, wool (Doodle Pad), hybrid or velour pads. The ZviZZer Thermo Trapez or Thermo Allrounder foam pad models will be perfectly suited.
The big advantage of this polish is its uncompromising cutting power but also its versatility with the choice of pads available to you: foam, wool, microfiber, hybrid.
Pre Cut (PC5000) is truly a formidable weapon for correcting deep defects, including on hard clear coats. To be used as a last resort if the action of Heavy Cut (HC4000) is not sufficient.
This polish can be used with both an orbital or rotary machine.
You will also need to make sure you perfectly degrease your surfaces with an alcohol-based solution (e.g.: Clean Top) before applying a ceramic coating.

How do you use ZviZZer Pre Cut (PC5000)?
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Choose your pad to use with ZviZZer PC5000 (Thermo Trapez Blue or Allrounder Blue, for example. All other types of pads in the ZviZZer range, such as microfiber, wool, and hybrid, are also recommended.)
- Spread in a circular pattern around the edge of your pad.
- Start by spreading your polish at low speed (2 on a dual-action polisher, 900/1000rpm on a rotary), then increase to speed 6 on the dual-action polisher and at least 1800rpm on the rotary.
- Work your polish for an extended period on a 60x60cm section using straight-line motions and crosshatch passes.
- Once your polish is translucent, wipe it off with a blue ZviZZer microfiber towel for a perfect finish.
Tip: First test ZviZZer Heavy Cut HC4000 to see whether it is sufficient to correct your defects. If not, use Pre Cut PC5000. Be sure to thoroughly work ZviZZer Pre Cut PC5000 on a properly prepared surface (chemical and mechanical decontamination). Work only in the shade and on cool surfaces.
