Description
Space Pad Yellow is a Medium Cut pad by PADS99 for removing the most commonly encountered defects on most clear coats: micro-scratches, holograms, oxidation, or correction of fine gloss polishing marks.
Semi-soft, open-cell foam that allows you to easily expel polish dust during work and prevent the pad from overheating.
The versatility of this pad is exceptional as it can be used either with a hard polish (compound) if you want to prioritize correction, with an intermediate polish (medium cut) for an excellent balance between cut/finish, or with a finishing polish to focus more on the final result.

The trapezoidal cut of this Space Pad Yellow finishing pad features a very pronounced radius to prevent premature wear of the pad edges.

How do you use the PADS99 Space Pad Yellow pad?
- Choose the pad size according to the size of your backing plate (e.g. a 75/90mm PADS99 size will fit a 75mm/3" machine backing plate).
- Center your pad on your backing plate.
- Apply several pea-sized drops of polish and spread the polish evenly over the pad to thoroughly saturate the foam. (e.g. polish: FC2000 Fine Cut by ZVIZZER)
- Spread your polish quickly at low speed over an area no larger than 60x60cm. (orbital speed 2)
- Then work your polish at low speed (4 on an orbital polisher) using slow straight passes.
- Finish your work when the residual polish film is very thin, almost transparent.
- Wipe off your polish with a suitable microfiber (e.g. Microfibre Cloth Black) using a small amount of ZVIZZER Clean Top (alcohol-based).
- Inspect your finish, then apply a protective wax or ceramic coating. A subsequent pass with a Space Pad White and an ultra-finishing polish may be considered for very delicate finishes.
Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner cleaning solution to keep your pads completely free of polish dust. Your work and results will be much better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, massage the pad between your fingers, then wipe everything with a microfiber or run the pad through a Lake Country Pad Washer.
