Description
Thermo Microfiber Pad is a highly abrasive microfiber pad for correcting very deep defects with an orbital and rotary-orbital polisher only (no rotary).
A formidable weapon against resistant clear coats and deep defects. Thermo Microfiber Pad features a foam interface between the backing and the microfiber, to absorb heat build-up during use. The foam interface is made from the renowned Thermo foam that has built the reputation of ZviZZer with their excellent Trapez and All-Rounders pads.
Also noteworthy is the excellent quality of the backing, which can withstand many uses without tearing.
The fibers of the Thermo Microfiber Pad are made from very dense and thick microfiber with exceptional build quality. Although very soft to the touch, the Thermo Microfiber Pad will be very aggressive for correcting the most significant defects on paintwork and recovering over-polished surfaces. Hard German clear coats in particular will hold no secrets for you.
It should be used with a highly abrasive polish such as the excellent HC4000 Heavy Cut or the PC5000 Pre Cut. A second pass with a Trapez or All-Rounder foam pad (orange or yellow) will then be required to refine the fine swirl marks left by the Thermo Microfiber Pad.
Pad to be used for the heaviest corrections, on the hardest and/or most damaged clear coats.
For orbital/rotary-orbital polisher use only.

How to use the ZviZZer Thermo Microfiber Pad?
- Carefully select the pad size according to your backing plate size (e.g. a 130/15/130mm size from ZviZZer is suitable for a 125mm/5' backing plate).
- Center your pad on your backing plate.
- Apply several pea-sized drops of polish and spread it evenly across the pad to thoroughly prime the fibers (e.g. polish: HC 4000 Heavy Cut).
- Spread your polish quickly at low speed over an area no larger than 60x60cm (speed 2 on a DA polisher).
- Then work your polish at high speed (5-6 on a DA polisher) using slow, overlapping straight passes.
- Finish your pass when the residual polish film is very thin, almost transparent.
- Wipe off the polish residue with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g. Microfibre Cloth Black or Black Velvet) using a little Clean Top (alcohol-based) or any other panel Cleaner.
- Inspect your finish, then proceed with a finishing pass using a yellow or orange foam pad (Trapez or All-Rounder) and a finishing polish (FC2000 Fine Cut).
Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner to keep your wool fibers completely free of polish residue. Your workflow and results will be significantly better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, work it in with your fingers, then wipe thoroughly with a microfiber towel or run the pad through a Pad Washer.
