Description
D-A Coarse Cutting Foam Pad is the most aggressive polishing pad in the RUPES range (foam range). It will be perfect for your correction or heavy correction polishing with aggressive polishes (compounds) such as D-A Coarse Polish, for example.
Specifically designed for orbital or rotary-orbital polishers, it is therefore suited to the brand's BigFoot machines as well as the LK900, and other orbital machines from other brands.
D-A Coarse Cutting Foam Pad will allow for careful correction work on all types of clear coats, minimizing residual defects as much as possible (holograms, etc.)
The fairly abrasive open-cell foam of this pad will guarantee a very high correction power for a foam pad while preventing heat build-up.
The rounded edges of the new D-A Foam Pad pads from RUPES ensure better durability on orbital machines that have an eccentric and therefore tend to inadvertently rub the edges.
After your correction work with D-A Coarse Cutting Foam Pad, we strongly recommend using a finishing pad and a finishing polish for a perfect result (e.g.: D-A Fine Polishing Gel with D-A Fine Finishing Foam Pad)

How do you use the RUPES D-A Coarse Cutting Foam Pad?
- Choose the pad size according to your backing plate size (e.g., an 80/100mm RUPES pad will fit a 75mm/3' machine backing plate).
- Center your mini pad on the backing plate.
- Apply several small dollops of heavy-cut polish (e.g., RUPES D-A Coarse Polish) onto the pad for first use. Spread evenly over the foam with your finger. For future uses, 3 small dollops of polish will be sufficient.
- Spread your polish quickly at low speed (2-3 on a dual-action polisher) over a small area (approximately 60x60cm).
- Then work the polish at speed 5-6 for approximately 3 crosshatch passes.
- Finish your work when the residual polish film is very thin.
- Wipe off your polish with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g., COCKTAIL MICROFIBERS Black Velvet) using a small amount of finishing inspection spray (e.g., Reveal Lite RUPES).
- Inspect your finish, then apply a protective wax.
Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with a dedicated cleaning solution such as ZviZZer Pad Cleaner, to keep your pad completely free of polish dust and prevent fibers from sticking. Your work and results will be much better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, massage the pad between your fingers, then wipe everything with a microfiber towel or use a Pad Washer.

- Always clean your pad regularly with Pad Cleaner
- Never leave an object/tool resting on the pad.
- Never machine-wash a pad.
- Always pull gently on the hook-and-loop backing to remove the pad from the backing plate.
