Description
The Thermo Allrounder Medium Orange pad is an exceptionally manufactured pad, dedicated to moderate correction work while guaranteeing a good level of finish. ZviZZer needs no introduction when it comes to the quality and durability of their polishing foams. A current worldwide reference.
The interface between the foam and the hook-and-loop provides even greater stability compared to other ZviZZer Trapez pads. A notable advantage when you want to maintain control of the pad on flat surfaces.
The build quality is evident in the strength of the hook-and-loop on one hand, with a very strong adhesive between the foam and the interface. Also, the trapezoidal cut is perfectly shaped and chamfered for greater durability. The honeycomb and aerated foam structure also ensures perfect heat distribution. The central hole in the pad also allows excess heat to dissipate during use.
The Thermo foam used in this pad is very special and allows it to resist deformation under pressure, while preventing the pad from softening and completely losing performance. This Thermo foam, which equips all ZviZZer foam pads, delivers considerably greater performance and pad durability (up to 3 to 4 times longer than a similar pad in traditional foam).
ZviZZer uses a registered and protected color code system specific to their pad range, to perfectly identify which polish should be used with which pad and also potentially with which drying microfiber. Thus, Thermo Allrounder Medium Orange can be used with ZviZZer Medium Cut One Step (MC 3000) polish or any other intermediate polish. The advantage of this Medium Allrounder Orange / Medium Cut One Step (MC 3000) combination is the excellent correction/finishing balance, particularly for "Car-Staging" type work in a single pass.
The fairly soft foam of this pad will ensure a very good finish even on the most delicate and difficult paint shades (high gloss direct, solid finish, etc.). A pure finishing pass with a Yellow or Green pad from the brand will be required for a perfect finish.

How do you use the ZviZZer Thermo Allrounder Medium Cut Orange pad?
- Select the correct pad size according to your backing plate (e.g., ZviZZer 125/140mm size fits a 125mm/5' machine backing plate).
- Center your pad on your backing plate.
- Apply a generous pea-sized drop of compound/polish (e.g., Medium Cut One Step) directly to the surface or a few small drops onto the pad.
- Spread the polish quickly at low speed over a work area no larger than 60x60cm.
- Then work your polish at high speed (speed 5–6 on a dual action or 1300–1800 RPM on a rotary) using slow, overlapping straight passes.
- Complete your polishing pass once the residual film becomes very thin, nearly transparent.
- Wipe away polish residue with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g., Microfibre Cloth Orange) using a wipe-down spray like Clean Top (alcohol-based)
- Inspect your finish and then apply a protective wax or sealant.
Tip: Make sure to regularly clean your pad with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner spray to keep your foam completely free of spent polish residue. Your workflow and results will improve significantly. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, work it in with your fingers, then wipe thoroughly with a microfiber towel or run the pad through a Pad Washer.
