Description
The Thermo Allrounder Hard Pad Red is an exceptionally crafted pad, dedicated to hard correction work including on hard clear coats. ZviZZer needs no introduction when it comes to the quality and durability of their polishing foams. A current world reference.
The build quality is felt through the strength of the hook-and-loop on one hand, with a very strong adhesive between the foam and the interface. Also, the trapezoidal cut is perfectly shaped and chamfered for greater durability, and the integrated interface provides more control during work. The honeycomb and aerated foam structure also ensures perfect heat distribution. The central hole of the pad also allows excess heat to be dissipated during use.
The interface between the foam and the hook-and-loop provides even greater stability compared to other ZviZZer Trapez pads. A notable advantage when you want to maintain control of the pad on flat surfaces.
The Thermo foam used in this pad is very special and allows it to resist deformation under pressure, while preventing the pad from softening and completely losing performance. This Thermo foam, which equips all ZviZZer foam pads, provides a considerable gain in performance and pad durability (up to 3 to 4 times longer than a similar pad with traditional foam).
ZviZZer uses a registered and protected color code for their pad range, very specific, to perfectly identify which polish should be used with which pad and also potentially with which drying microfiber. Thus, the Thermo Allrounder Hard Pad Rose can be used with ZviZZer Heavy Cut Scratch Remover (HC 4000) or any other heavy correction polish (compound).
The very dense foam of this pad can handle heavy pressure loads and correct very significant defects including on difficult paint colors or on hard German clear coats.

How do you use the ZviZZer Thermo Allrounder Hard Pad Red ?
- Choose the pad size according to your backing plate size (e.g., a 140/20/125 mm ZviZZer pad will fit a 125mm/5' machine backing plate).
- Center your pad on the backing plate.
- Apply a generous amount of polish (e.g., Heavy Cut Scratch Remover HC 4000) directly onto the surface or several small amounts onto the pad.
- Spread your polish quickly at low speed over an area no larger than 60x60cm.
- Then work the polish at high speed (6 on an orbital polisher or 1300/1800rpm on a rotary) using slow straight-line passes.
- Finish your work when the residual polish haze is very thin, almost transparent.
- Wipe off your polish with a suitable microfiber towel (e.g., Microfibre Cloth Red) using a Clean Top pad (alcohol-based)
- Inspect your finish, then apply a protective wax.
Tip: Regularly clean your pad with ZviZZer Pad Cleaner cleaning solution to keep the foam completely free of polish dust. Your work and results will be much better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, massage the pad between your fingers, then wipe everything with a microfiber towel or place the pad in a Pad Washer.
