Description

Ultra Cut Polishing Pad by NANOLEX is a polishing pad designed to tackle the deepest and most difficult scratches to remove.
Featuring a very dense foam structure that is especially resistant to pressure, you will maintain a consistent cutting power with the most aggressive polishes (compounds).

Ideally paired with the brand's Ultra Cut polish, the combination will work on the hardest paint finishes.

Ultra Cut Polishing Pad features an advantageous conical shape, allowing you to reach panel edges for complete precision work. This shape also helps to better distribute pressure across the width of the pad. The center hole helps with centering the pad on the backing plate and, more importantly, better dissipates heat during use.

Available in different sizes (75mm/125mm/150mm), the Ultra Cut Polishing Pad is compatible with the various backing plates commonly found on the market (3'/5'/6'). Its unique beige color allows you to distinguish and identify it at a glance among the other colors in the NANOLEX pad range.

This polishing pad can be used with both a dual-action orbital polisher or a rotary polisher.

How to use the NANOLEX Ultra Cut Polishing Pad?

  1. Checks: Always verify that the diameter of your pad is greater than or equal to the diameter of your backing plate.
  2. Placement: Center your pad on your backing plate.
  3. Polish: Spread your polish in a peripheral circle on the pad
  4. Working: Work your polish one section at a time, applying a certain amount of pressure on the pad according to the defects to be corrected.
  5. Cleaning: Always remember to clean your pad during work (brush, compressed air, etc.)

Tip: For best results, use a dedicated pad cleaning brush (e.g. Claw pad tool by RUPES).

Care instructions

Wash your pad carefully in lukewarm water with a little pad cleaner or microfiber detergent once your correction work is complete. Never wring the pad to squeeze out water — instead press it between your fingers and dry it on a drying rack, for example.
