Colourlock Stain Remover (formerly Koch-Chemie Fleckenwasser) is a highly effective organic solvent formulated for the targeted removal of stubborn greasy and organic residues from your vehicle's surfaces.

Its halogen-free hydrocarbon formula acts quickly on wax and polish residues, oil, ink, paint and tar stains, as well as paraffin waxes during preparatory de-waxing before applying a ceramic coating or a new wax.

It can be used on all solvent-resistant surfaces: body paint, glass, ceramic, metal and textiles. Its versatile action spectrum makes it the indispensable decontamination tool for the professional detailer as well as the demanding enthusiast.

How to use Colourlock Stain Remover?
1. Prepare the surface — Ensure the surface is clean and free of coarse dust. Vacuum textiles prior to application.
2. Test compatibility — Before use, test colorfastness and compatibility on an inconspicuous area.
3. Apply neat — Pour a few drops of Stain Remover directly onto the stain or onto a dry, absorbent cloth.
4. Rub and absorb — Gently rub the stained area with the cloth. The solvent dissolves and absorbs greasy or organic residue.
5. Dry — Allow to dry or wipe clean with a dry towel. Repeat the process if necessary.
6. Degrease before treatment — When used as a residual wax stripper, wipe down the entire bodywork prior to applying a wax, sealant, or ceramic coating.
7. Rinse if needed — On textiles, vacuuming the area after drying enhances the final result.
Tip: For stubborn tar spots, allow to dwell for 30 seconds before wiping. Never apply to non-solvent-resistant surfaces (untested plastics, aniline leather).
