1K Nano, a high-end synthetic treatment that literally bonds with your paint layer unlike conventional waxes, can be applied either by hand or ideally with an orbital polisher. Its effectiveness makes future cleaning easier, particularly for embedded insects, bird droppings, etc.

That's not all — 1K Nano also provides protection against UV rays, chemicals with extreme pH levels, as well as friction micro-scratches.

Simple regular maintenance with KOCH CHEMIE Nano Magic Shampoo can extend the durability of the treatment from 1 year to 3 years!

Instructions for use:

- Make sure to properly prepare the surface on which you will apply the 1K Nano; ideally a complete preparation (decontamination, polishing) will allow for optimal adhesion.

- Degrease your surface thoroughly before application (KOCH CHEMIE FleckenWasser).

- Shake the product bottle well and then pour 1K Nano into the supplied container. Generally, one small full container is more than enough to treat a medium-sized car.

For more uniform application and to use less product, application with an orbital polisher is preferable. For this, choose a finishing pad (Finishing pad, or finessing depending on the brand).

 Pour a few drops in a circular pattern onto the pad. The first application requires slightly more product than subsequent ones.

- Then work the product at low speed (3-4 maximum) using crossed passes for good coverage of the surface. Try to achieve a thin film without adding more product during your passes.

- Allow to cure for 2-3 minutes depending on temperature (ideally between 15-30°C) and then wipe with a short-pile microfiber cloth (GYEON Polish Wipe is ideal for this). Wiping is a formality with the 1K Nano.

Full drying of the product occurs after 2 hours. Do not wash the vehicle during the 3 days following the application of the product.

Final result

Advantages

+ One bottle can treat 5/6 medium-sized vehicles.

Disadvantages 

+ High price.

+ Need to own an orbital polisher for easier and more economical application.


Our opinion:

KOCH CHEMIE really makes a strong impression with the 1K Nano. Halfway between a sealant and a pure ceramic, this product seems to offer the advantages of both protections: ease of application of a sealant, durability of a ceramic. As for its long-term performance, since the product is fairly new, no feedback on the announced durability of 3 years with regular maintenance can yet be verified.

However, the ease of application — and especially wiping — makes it an ideal product, particularly for paints prone to micro-scratching quickly. The very glossy and deep finish is reminiscent of the best sealants on the market.

A must-try as soon as possible!
