Description

The Gtechniq GT1 is a single-layer ceramic coating kit designed to protect all exterior surfaces of the vehicle in a single application.

Its advanced ceramic formula chemically bonds to the surface to create a durable protective layer, resistant to holograms, with a strong hydrophobic effect and well-formed water beading. Dirt adheres less and cleaning becomes easier.

A true multi-surface coating, GT1 is applied to bodywork, paint protection film (PPF), vinyl wraps, plastic trim, wheels and windows (excluding windshields), for consistent protection of the entire vehicle with a single product.

Designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike, it applies easily, including outdoors, and offers up to 1 year of protection.

How to use the Gtechniq GT1 Ceramic Coating Kit?
1. Preparation: park the vehicle in the shade at an ambient temperature above 5°C.
2. Deep wash: perform a full decontamination wash, then dry the vehicle completely.
3. Panel prep: put on the included gloves, spray Panel Wipe onto the MF1 cloth, and wipe down each panel before application.
4. Applying GT1: prime the supplied applicator evenly, then apply panel by panel from top to bottom using cross-hatch passes.
5. Flash time: allow 30 to 60 seconds to dwell until the product visibly flashes/separates.
6. Residue removal: gently buff off with a clean MF6 cloth, then buff with a second MF6 cloth to a high-gloss finish.
7. Finishing and curing: proceed to treat glass, plastics, and wheels, then allow to cure for 7 days before the first wash.
Tip: always work in small sections to keep flash times under control.
