Description

HLR75 is the latest evolution of RUPES polishers with Ibrid technology. With perfect ergonomics, the new HLR75 polisher will be ideal for polishing hard-to-reach areas and curved surfaces thanks to its 3" (75mm) pad and 12mm orbit.

This exceptional machine runs on a rechargeable battery (2 units included) with very good battery life (expect between 35–45 minutes of autonomy). This guarantees perfect mobility for outdoor work away from your workshop, for example.
It is possible to couple it with a wired adapter for use with a power outlet (not included).

Starting the polisher is very simple thanks to the lever, just like the eccentric sanders commonly encountered. The speed controller is perfectly positioned on the side for perfect control.

How do you use the RUPES Bigfoot HLR75 polisher?

  1. Pad/polish selection: Choose the pad/polish combination suited to the work required.
  2. Positioning: Center your pad on the backing plate.
  3. Polish: Spread your polish in a peripheral circle on the pad.
  4. Work: Work your polish one area at a time, applying some pressure to the pad, and start at speed 2 to quickly spread the polish over the work area. Then increase to speed 5 to work the polish slowly in overlapping crosshatch passes.
  5. Wiping: Wipe off polishing residue once the remaining haze becomes translucent. Use the appropriate colored microfiber towel included in the kit.
  6. Inspection: Always wipe again with an isopropyl alcohol-based solution to inspect your work (e.g., Rupes Reveal Lite).

Tip: For best results, use a dedicated pad-cleaning brush (Claw pad tool). Regularly change your microfiber or foam pad as soon as it becomes too saturated.

Care instructions

Always polish with the polisher held flat against the surface. Replace your pad as soon as it becomes too saturated with polish. Blow out the polisher openings (vents) to regularly remove dust from the machine. The machine's power lever is fairly fragile; handle it carefully.
