Description

The Zvizzer Thermo UFO Pad Red is the finishing pad of the UFO Thermo Pads range, developed to get the best out of the Speed Polish One Step on the most subtle defects. Its Soft hardness (burgundy) makes it suited to removing very light scratches, holograms, finishing haze, and residual marks left after more aggressive correction.

Its signature three-layer construction — thermostable open-cell foam, intermediate PU layer and velcro — guarantees a soft and controlled feel while retaining all the technical advantages of the UFO range. The open-cell foam dissipates heat to preserve the integrity of the lacquer during finishing passes. The PU layer distributes pressure evenly, enabling smooth working with no risk of over-correction.

The UFO shape with a beveled edge eliminates any harsh transition, guaranteeing a result free of holograms even during fine finishing stages. Compatible with rotary and orbital machines, this Soft pad is also ideal for applying a protection or preparing the surface before a coating. Available in 95 mm, 145 mm and 170 mm to suit every surface and every machine.

How to use the Zvizzer Thermo UFO Pad Red?
1. Prepare the surface: clean, dry paintwork, corrected beforehand if necessary with Grey or White pads.
2. Mount the pad onto the backing plate of your rotary or dual action polisher.
3. Apply the polish: apply a small amount of Zvizzer Speed Polish onto the burgundy foam.
4. Spread at low speed without pressure over the working section.
5. Polish to finish: work at moderate speed and light pressure with slow passes to maximize gloss and remove residual haze.
6. Gently wipe off with a soft microfiber towel and inspect under side lighting or an inspection LED light.
7. Clean the pad after each use to maintain its softness and finishing performance.
Tip: the Soft Red pad is ideal as a final pass after the Grey or White pad for a perfect one-step result.
Tip: on sensitive paints or dark colors, start directly with the Red pad to minimize risks.
