Description

The Zvizzer Thermo UFO Pad Grey is the most aggressive correction pad in the UFO Thermo Pads range, specifically designed to work with the Speed Polish One Step. Its Hard (grey) hardness makes it the tool of choice for eliminating severe defects: deep scratches, sanding marks, hard clear coats and heavy oxidation.

Its unique three-layer construction — thermostable open-cell foam, intermediate PU layer and velcro — redefines the standards of machine correction. The open-cell foam dissipates heat and maintains its shape even at high temperatures, ensuring consistent performance over time. The PU layer prevents polish from penetrating into the velcro, protects the pad and ensures uniform pressure distribution.

The UFO shape with its symmetrical contour and bevelled edges eliminates the hard transitions responsible for holograms and micro-scratches. Pressure is distributed evenly across the entire surface, for precise and reproducible correction, in both rotary and orbital use. Available in three diameters — 95 mm (spot work), 145 mm (universal use) and 170 mm (large surfaces) — it adapts to every machine configuration.

How to use the Zvizzer Thermo UFO Pad Grey?
1. Prepare the surface: ensure paintwork is clean, decontaminated, and dry before polishing.
2. Mount the pad onto the backing plate of your rotary or dual-action polisher (hook-and-loop).
3. Apply compound: place a few pea-sized drops of Zvizzer Speed Polish directly onto the gray foam.
4. Spread at low speed without applying pressure over the work section before raising the speed.
5. Polish the section: work at moderate to high speed using cross-hatch passes and light pressure for maximum correction.
6. Wipe away residue with a clean microfiber towel and inspect the result under inspection lighting.
7. Clean the pad after each section with a pad cleaning brush or water to preserve its performance.
Tip: for very deep defects, complete 2 to 3 passes before assessing the level of correction.
Tip: if a ceramic coating is to be applied, wipe down with IPA after correction.
