Description
A brand new type of natural wool pad specifically dedicated to orbital machines (LHR) and forced mechanical drive machines (LK900). D-A Coarse Wool Polishing Pad is designed to correct the deepest defects on the hardest and/or most marked paintwork. You will have excellent cutting power while retaining the safety of using an orbital machine.
The direct advantage of using this natural wool is the reduced heat generated on the surface. Also, the blue foam interface allows better guidance of your movements, better pressure distribution and improved ability to conform to the curved shapes of certain panels.
The doubled natural wool structure (two fiber lengths) of D-A Coarse Wool Polishing Pad will allow excellent cutting as well as a very good finish, even when using very strong polishes (compounds).
Be sure to carefully check your paintwork thickness before using this type of pad. Indeed, although very soft and silky in appearance, these pads are the most aggressive on paintwork.

How do you use the RUPES D-A Coarse Wool Polishing Pad?
- Choose the pad size according to the size of your backing plate (e.g., an 80mm RUPES size will fit a 75mm/3' machine backing plate).
- Center your pad on the backing plate.
- Apply a generous amount of polish (e.g., D-A Coarse Cut Polishing Compound) directly onto the pad on first use to thoroughly saturate all fibers. Spread it evenly over the fibers with your finger. For future use, 3 pea-sized amounts of polish will be sufficient.
- Spread your polish quickly at low speed (2-3 on an orbital) over a small area (approximately 60x60cm).
- Then work your polish at a maximum speed of 4-5. Be careful not to apply pressure on sharp, protruding edges.
- Finish your work when the residual polish haze is very thin, almost transparent.
- Wipe off your polish with a suitable microfiber (e.g., COCKTAIL MICROFIBERS Black Velvet) using a little finishing inspection spray (e.g., Reveal Lite RUPES).
- Inspect your finish, then use a finishing polish with a suitable pad.
Tip: Remember to clean your pad regularly with a dedicated cleaning solution such as ZviZZer Pad Cleaner, to keep your pad completely free of polish dust and prevent the fibers from sticking together. Your work and results will be much better. Spray Pad Cleaner directly onto the pad, massage the pad between your fingers, then wipe everything with a microfiber or place the pad in a Pad Washer.

- Never leave an object/tool resting on the pad.
- Never clean a pad in a washing machine.
- Always pull gently on the hook-and-loop backing to remove the pad from the backing plate.
