The D-A Coarse Microfiber Extreme Cut Pad is a high-performance microfiber polishing pad designed to remove severe defects, sanding marks and deep scratches on the hardest paint surfaces. Developed by RUPES, this pad pairs ideally with the D-A Coarse compound to provide fast and effective correction on dual-action (DA) polishers.
The density of its foam interface and the quality of the microfiber fibers guarantee aggressive cutting while protecting the edges thanks to specific oversizing relative to compatible backing plates. How do you use the RUPES D-A Coarse Microfiber Extreme Cut Pad?
- Attach the pad to a compatible backing plate slightly smaller than the pad diameter.
- Apply a small amount of RUPES D-A Coarse compound to the microfiber surface.
- Place the switched-off polisher on the surface to be treated.
- Start the polisher and work in cross-hatch passes at low speed to distribute the product.
- Gradually increase the speed to maximize correction.
- Check the result and repeat if necessary.
Tip: Clean the pad regularly with a soft brush to prevent residue buildup.
