Description

Very Hard Cutting polishing pad, for correcting the deepest and most severe defects.

The foam density is very high, suitable for the hardest paints and the deepest corrections.

This Very Hard Cutting pad should be used with the most aggressive compounds (hard polishes) for an optimal correction combination.

Slightly less aggressive than the white model (Ultra Hard Cutting) with a lower foam density for improved curve conformability.

The conical cut of the pad allows better pressure distribution. The high-quality hook-and-loop fastener ensures excellent durability.

Every pad from the Fictech brand features a central hole for heat dissipation during use.

To ensure good pad durability, make sure to clean it with the Smooth - 752 detergent and lukewarm water in a basin, or by gently scrubbing it with a brush after use.

Available in 3 different sizes for the most commonly used backing plates.
-100mm for 3' backing plates (Rupes LHR75 Mini, for example).
-150mm for 5' backing plates (Rupes LHR15, DAS-Pro, for example).
-180mm for 6' backing plates (Rupes LHR21, for example).

How to use the Fictech Blue foam pad Very Hard?

1. Select your pad based on your backing plate size. Your pad should be slightly larger than the backing plate diameter.
2. If the pad is brand new, you may prime/mist it lightly with a quick detailer (e.g., Rapid Detailer by Infinity Wax).
3. Apply a few drops of polish (4 pea-sized drops) onto the pad surface, or trace a thin circle around the perimeter of the pad.
4. Keep your pad completely flat against the vehicle bodywork at all times.
5. Take care not to allow the pad to contact emblems, door handles, or any delicate trim pieces.
6. Clean your pad regularly with a pad cleaning brush to remove dried compound and dust.

Care instructions

Pad maintenance during polishing:

- Clean your pad with a suitable brush such as the RUPES Claw Pad Tool to clear compound residues from the foam cells.
- Alternatively, you can use a compressed air blow gun.

Pad maintenance after polishing:

- Soak your pad in a basin of warm water with a dedicated pad cleaning solution such as POORBOY'S Tornado Pad Cleaner.
- Then gently brush the pad.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Gently squeeze the pad with your fingers to press out excess water.
- Allow to air dry completely.
