How do you use the COLOURLOCK Leather Cleaning Brush?
- Use on Leather: Apply your COLOURLOCK Mild Leather Cleaner or Strong Leather Cleaner directly onto the brush. Agitate in circular motions without excessive pressure (do not crush or splay the bristles).
- Use on unpainted interior/exterior plastics: Spray an APC or degreaser solution onto the surfaces and onto the brush bristles. Agitate in circular motions with moderate pressure.
- Rinsing: Rinse the brush thoroughly with clean water after use.
Tip: When using on Alcantara, never apply heavy pressure to the bristles to avoid pilling the material. We even recommend using a sponge first with your Alcantara cleaner, reserving the brush as a last resort.

Can I use the leather cleaning brush on Alcantara?
Yes, but be careful not to press too hard with the brush. Alcantara is a very delicate material and could pill.
Is the leather cleaning brush suitable for smooth nappa leather?
Yes. The soft bristles are safe for all types of smooth, pigmented leather, though care is needed with aniline leather. Never press too hard with the brush.
Can the brush be used with degreasers to scrub wheel wells, for example?
Yes, it can withstand cleaners and detergents without issue. The brush is sturdily built, with good-quality synthetic bristles.
