Everyone knows the LHR15 orbital polisher, constantly improved, a true icon of the Italian brand that has partly built its reputation in the detailing world.
RUPES has developed a brand new cordless model with numerous improvements to offer even greater comfort to the user.
This cordless, battery-powered version, the HLR15, will suit both amateur and professional detailers.
Maneuverability, freedom of movement — this new polisher is truly revolutionary.
Its performance is impressive: its 18V battery offers 5Ah with prolonged and uninterrupted operation. You can enjoy its full power for 40 continuous minutes at full power.
This RUPES HLR15 polisher is designed to handle heavy workloads, including during heavy correction phases.
The major innovations of this remarkable machine are numerous.
- The first concerns the new orbital drive system. Less parasitic vibrations, less heat buildup, and less friction, delivering a much better working experience.
- The second innovation concerns the new brushless In-Runner technology and the new gear system.
Better output power (350W useful), no motor housing which prevents temperature rises and allows better ventilation. The new gears used also help reduce noise during operation.
- Another improvement is the lateral LED strip indicator showing your battery charge level. A slow blink will signal a low battery level.
- Finally, your HLR15 is equipped with a new polyurethane backing plate. New material, new design, allowing better precision and control during work. The rubber edge will provide extra safety when working near sensitive areas.
You can recharge both batteries simultaneously if needed thanks to the dual charger included in the kit.

How to use the RUPES Bigfoot HLR15 polisher?
- Pad/compound choice: Choose the appropriate pad and compound combination for the job (foam pad or wool pad).
- Centering: Center your pad on your backing plate.
- Compound: Spread your polish in a ring around the pad perimeter.
- Polishing: Work your polish one section at a time, applying moderate pressure to the pad, and start at speed 2-3 to quickly spread the compound across the work area. Then increase to speed 5 or maximum speed 6 to work your polish slowly in cross-hatch passes.
- Wiping: Wipe off polishing residue once the film turns translucent. Use the corresponding color-coded microfiber towel included in the kit for this step.
- Inspection: Always remember to wipe down again with an isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution to inspect your work (e.g., Rupes Reveal Lite).
Tip: For best results, consider using the dedicated pad cleaning brush (Claw pad tool not included in the kit). Regularly switch out your microfiber or foam pad as soon as it becomes saturated.

Care instructions
Always polish with the machine held flat against the surface. Be sure to change your pad as soon as it becomes saturated with polish. Blow out the polisher's ventilation slots regularly to remove dust from the machine.
