Removing polish residue from plastics
Why do this?
It can happen, due to insufficient masking, that you accidentally go over bare plastics with the polisher. You are then left with a white mark left by the solvents in the polishes, which proves quite difficult to remove if not treated quickly.
Step 1: In which situation(s)?
This method should be applied immediately after accidentally going over bare plastics.
Step 2: Choosing the products to use
To effectively remove polish residue, simply use an All Purpose Cleaner (APC) at a 1:4 dilution in a spray bottle. A soft-bristle brush is recommended to dislodge residues from the plastic surface. Finally, a few all-purpose microfibres will be needed to wipe the area.

Step 3: Process
In the tutorial above, you will see how to quickly and effectively remove a fresh polish mark from a raw textured plastic. If the mark is older, you can increase the concentration of the cleaner slightly while scrubbing with the brush.
