GTECHNIQ is a highly reputed brand for the quality of its innovative products, and in particular its ceramic treatments. Today, we are going to look at a product that many people are unfamiliar with or have never heard of: C6 Matte Dash.

This product is interesting on more than one level, as it is highly versatile and also features a very useful anti-bacterial action (AB Biocote version). Designed to protect interior surfaces made of synthetic materials (vinyls, hard or foam plastics, faux leathers and PU leathers, dashboards, etc.), C6 Matte Dash is suitable for virtually every element of your interior.

Available in a 100ml spray bottle, you will find that a very small amount of product is needed to treat an entire car interior.

Usage:

First and foremost, as with every application of a protective product on a surface, prior cleaning is essential. For this, GTECHNIQ offers an excellent-quality APC (All-Purpose Cleaner), the W2 Multi Purpose Cleaner. Dilute it in a dilution bottle according to the surface to be treated. Brush the surface thoroughly to perfectly degrease the base and remove any previously applied protective coatings. A soft-bristle brush such as those used for leather will work perfectly. Then dry the surface thoroughly before applying C6 Matte Dash.





C6 Matte Dash comes in a 100ml spray bottle, which may seem very small, but ultimately is more than sufficient to treat your entire interior, and multiple times at that.

Note that C6 Matte Dash contains anti-bacterial agents thanks to this AB version (Bio-cote). This anti-microbial technology destroys nearly 99.9% of bacteria. A definite advantage for professionals looking to deliver a vehicle to their client fully disinfected!



The benefits of using C6 Matte Dash are also numerous. This product provides a highly durable UV filter to prevent your plastics, and dashboards in particular, from hardening, cracking and subsequently causing noises.

Furthermore, it reinforces the treated surface (do not expect an anti-scratch function for plastics, however) and has a very useful anti-static function, especially on delicate materials (piano black inserts, for example).

The best application of C6 Matte Dash is done using a microfiber applicator.
Simply spray 2–3 "spritzes" of C6 Matte Dash onto the applicator and then apply directly onto your surface in circular motions without pressure.



C6 Matte Dash applies very easily and is not greasy. It is very liquid and above all leaves a perfectly matte finish after wiping. You almost feel like you are applying a quick detailer in reality. You will clearly see where you have applied it as the surface will look slightly damp. Proceed to wipe immediately.





Likewise, wiping is very easy — the product is not greasy to wipe off. For those who prefer a perfectly matte finish true to the original look, C6 Matte Dash is perfect!



C6 Matte Dash is extremely versatile. You can use it virtually everywhere in your interior. Dashboard, faux leathers and PU leathers can all be treated in the same way.





Finally, interior door seals can also receive a coat of C6 Matte Dash.



Once treated, all surfaces will have UV and hydrophobic protection. In addition, you will benefit from light abrasion resistance (particularly on delicate black lacquered trim panels, which will be less prone to marking when wiped with a microfiber cloth).



Conclusion:

C6 Matte Dash is an excellent product in every respect. There is very little to criticize. The finish is truly true to the original and the benefits linked to its application are numerous. Furthermore, in this restrictive health climate, C6 Matte Dash offers a very useful anti-bacterial solution.
Although the format is small (100ml), after treating all the surfaces of the test Tesla Model 3, the bottle remains almost full. Moreover, the product price is modest (€7.50). So why go without?...
