Overview:

CHEMICAL GUYS, the American detailing giant, offers with Carbon Flex Vitalize a quick protection spray solution, known as a Spray Wax or more accurately a Spray Sealant, as it is indeed a synthetic protection to be sprayed on.

The advantage of Carbon Flex Vitalize is its versatility. Regardless of the type of protection already applied (carnauba, polymer), you can apply Carbon Flex Vitalize without any risk.


Usage:

The second advantage, in addition to its versatility, is its ease of use and wide range of applications. You can use it as a simple quick detailer to remove various contaminants locally (fingerprints, grease, bird droppings, bug splatters, etc.) or as a drying aid on a wet surface.


If, after drying a treated or untreated vehicle, you notice some superficial water spots, you can use Carbon Flex Vitalize to remove them easily while adding protection and a superb glossy feel. Even in direct sunlight.






It is worth noting that the glossy feel is truly spectacular even though the test vehicle has absolutely no prior treatment. You will achieve a very smooth finish.

Also, the application of Carbon Flex Vitalize was carried out outdoors in direct sunlight, on a dark body panel, in order to test the product under unfavorable conditions. No streaking whatsoever and very easy wiping. Use a double-sided microfiber such as the Black Velvet for this purpose.



The gain in gloss is noticeable. The color appears deeper and the metallic finish is more pronounced.





Second possible application method for Carbon Flex Vitalize: on a wet surface during the car drying phase.

Once you have washed the car and rinsed it, spray Carbon Flex Vitalize all over (safely on seals, bare plastics, windows, etc.) before proceeding to dry with your favorite microfiber.





A quick test then on a panel treated in "Drying Aid" mode — the beading effect is present, but not spectacular either. We remind you that the test vehicle is absolutely unprepared. It has quite a bit of contamination and no base protection whatsoever.

Not bad at all for a spray sealant with such a simple and quick application.



Take the opportunity to also apply Carbon Flex Vitalize to your wheels after washing — they will come out shinier.





Carbon Flex Vitalize was already an excellent surprise, but we wanted to test it on a vehicle that already had a synthetic protection, to see if the effect is even more pronounced and what additional benefit it provides.

The application was therefore carried out on a car with a synthetic protection over 3 months old, in need of a small boost on the hydrophobic effect in particular.

After application. It is convincingly clear that the hydrophobic effect is significantly enhanced. Moreover, the feel becomes perfectly smooth again, just like on the first day the initial protection was applied. The metallic grey of the test car also appears deeper.



Conclusion:

CHEMICAL GUYS already offers several references in terms of spray waxes or spray sealants. Examples include the P-40 Pro Detailer and the V07 High Gloss Spray Sealant. The real question would be whether Carbon Flex Vitalize offers a genuine advantage over the other very similar products in the range. Difficult to say in reality, as we are missing the durability and chemical resistance aspects of the product. To be verified over the long term.

That said, Carbon Flex Vitalize is a very versatile product that can be applied over any type of protection (which a P-40 cannot, for example, as it is reserved for natural protections) and also on all surfaces without risk (wheels, windows, bare plastics).

It will leave an exemplary finish, streak-free, with a rare smoothness and brilliant shine.
Carbon Flex Vitalize will also be a go-to partner for anyone looking for a quick protection solution with no room for error, and wishing to add a little extra after every wash.
