Essence Plus is truly a unique product of its kind, in the sense that it is neither a polish (it contains no abrasives) nor a true ceramic protection. Essence Plus could thus be described as a Ceramic Booster designed to maintain or repair a ceramic coating already present on the vehicle.
Usable by machine or by hand, the product delivers excellent results in minimal time.
Carpro developed Essence Plus initially to offer detailers a solution to "repair" a ceramic coating originally applied to a vehicle, for example to remove light water spots, various contaminants, or even some fine wash-marring marks.
Use:
As mentioned above, Essence Plus can be used in 2 different ways. Either by machine for time savings and better uniformity of application, or by hand with a classic foam pad, just like applying a natural wax.
For machine application, it is preferable to opt for a very soft pad, specifically a finessing or finishing pad such as the Blue pad from Lake Country, ideal for this use.
Of course, before applying Essence Plus, it will be essential to properly prepare the surface (washing, decontamination with a ferrous decontaminant and a tar remover for example).
Then apply 4 pea-sized drops of Essence Plus to the pad.
Work with an orbital machine at low speed (speed 4 max) on sections of 60x60cm maximum. Always make sure to mask sensitive areas (seals, bare plastics).
Perform a simple cross pass, working Essence Plus in to leave a thin haze.
Then proceed to wipe off with a dedicated microfiber such as the Black Velvet. The first thing you notice is the ease with which Essence Plus wipes off. Forget everything you know about wiping off a polish because Essence Plus is not one — instead, compare the wipe-off to that of a quality sealant.
// Above all, do not use an Oil Cleaner such as Eraser for example, as it would remove the freshly applied layer! 
The second striking thing when using Essence Plus is the incredibly soft feel left by the product — comparable to a freshly applied layer of carnauba.
Once applied, Essence Plus will deeply reboost your existing ceramic coating, thereby considerably reinforcing the hydrophobic effect and resistance to chemical agents. It is far more than a simple ceramic Quick Wax like a Reload, for example.
Do not, however, expect any correction from Essence Plus. At best, it will allow you to remove light contaminants and a few light washing or wiping marks, but if a haze of micro-scratches has reappeared, Essence will not be able to correct it.
In the end, the result on the test area also allows us to notice a gain in depth on the color. The black appears darker, deeper.
You can also apply Essence Plus by hand, if you do not have an orbital polisher.
The application is similar to a coat of carnauba for example, in circular motions and straight passes.
Apply a peripheral circle on a foam pad (such as the W-APS for example).
Apply without pressure.

Our opinion:
CARPRO offers us a product with no real competition. As a result, Essence Plus achieves what others cannot — namely, durably maintaining and even slightly repairing ceramic coatings applied to a treated vehicle.
The result is a superb surface finish (gloss and depth) with a very silky feel. Future washes will once again be made easier.
An extremely easy-to-use product requiring no particular technique (it is not a polish), and making it possible to offer periodic maintenance (every 6 months for example) to the owner of a ceramic-treated vehicle.
Absolutely worth trying.
