ANGELWAX keeps on expanding its ceramic-based Enigma range. Enigma Trinity is the ceramic leather protection offered by the English brand, while Heaven for Leather serves as the in-depth pre-cleaning step.
As always with ANGELWAX, we are promised effective products that are above all very easy to use. We test them for you.

Use:

The leather in a car is a real asset that adds character to your vehicle. However, it needs to be maintained regularly and with the right products to prevent various types of dirt from accumulating and ultimately spoiling its visual appearance.

Being a tanned animal hide, leather must be cared for with specific products so as not to attack its structure and cause more damage than good.

Let us start by cleaning with Heaven For Leather. A mild soap and glycerine product designed exclusively for leather cleaning. It comes in a 500ml spray bottle.

You can use it together with either a leather cleaning brush (the Colourlock one is well suited) or the interior leather cleaning mitt from Carpro (Inner Scrub). The latter being very practical for large surfaces.



The white leather of the test vehicle already shows quite a lot of ingrained dirt and denim/trouser transfer marks. The white colour leaves no room for any lapse in maintenance at this level.





Start by spraying Heaven For Leather either directly onto the leather or onto the brush or mitt of your choice.
Note the rather pleasant scent of the product.





Very liquid products always present the problem of dripping everywhere when sprayed onto the surface. Always start from the bottom of the element — on a seatback, for example — and work your way up gradually to avoid runs that are often difficult to fix afterwards.


Agitate on the surface with the brush. Light dirt and transfer marks come off effortlessly in a single pass. After wiping with a microfibre cloth, the leather feels non-greasy and perfectly matte.





To gain efficiency and save time, work large surfaces with the Carpro Inner Scrub mitt. Always spray Heaven For Leather onto your leather — even perforated leather — there is no risk. A few sprays on the mitt as well, then agitate on the surface.
The result is always outstanding.





Pay close attention to cleaning the control elements (steering wheel, handbrake, gear knob) which are heavily used.
Once again, the mitt is perfect as it splashes less than the brush with its synthetic bristles.




Note that the small spray bottle included with Heaven For Leather is not as tiring as one might expect over the long term, as the action is smooth. This matters because some small sprays can quickly become tiring to use when you have to spray frequently.

The interior comes out looking superb, the white regains its immaculate appearance, and the leather is perfectly matte.



Finally, after treating the entire interior of the test car (Porsche Macan, full leather), here is simply the product consumption.



One and a half lines of product were used. You can therefore easily treat your interior multiple times with a single bottle of Heaven For Leather.

Once your interior is perfectly cleaned and left to dry, you can move on to protection with Enigma Trinity.

This product takes its place among the current references in terms of ceramic protection specifically for leather.

Enigma Trinity is a sprayable product, very easy to use, allowing few possible errors unlike other ceramic treatments (Leather, LeatherShield, etc.)

Simply spray Enigma Trinity onto a microfibre applicator and then spread it over one element at a time in straight passes.





Enigma Trinity will not make your leather greasy, shiny, or anything else. On application, it is deceptive in fact — you can barely see the product film. The finish will be perfectly matte, true to the original. This is a real plus, as ceramic treatments for leather often tend to slightly satin the finish.

Simply let it sit for a few seconds (30 seconds at most), enough time to fully treat your area. Then wipe off with a standard microfibre cloth (Ultra Fine, for example).

We recommend doubling the application of Enigma Trinity on heavily used areas (outer seat bolsters, steering wheel). Simply allow 1h30 between each coat.





The product consumption in the end is truly minimal. A good thing too, because if you look closely at the price, Enigma Trinity is still priced at €32. That starts to be quite expensive for a 250ml bottle.
But once again, if you consider the consumption for a complete interior, you can easily treat more than 10 full interiors with one bottle.



Once fully treated (cleaning/protection), your leather interior will look like new. A major plus of Enigma Trinity is the perfectly matte finish it leaves, which is very appealing. No "slippery" sensation in your hands either.





General conclusion:

ANGELWAX has always pushed its Enigma range to the top: quality products, easy to apply, little to no risk for the user regardless of their skill level.
We find these qualities in Trinity. We truly appreciate the neutral finish on application, which is not the case with other competing products (especially noticeable on dark interiors).
The product is expensive, however. €32 for 250ml — you have to love your leather! But once again, you can easily treat at least 10 full interiors, giving a unit cost of €3. Very reasonable.
A safe bet, all in all.
As for Heaven For Leather, this cleaner does the job perfectly. It cleans easily without effort, and above all is very easy to wipe off afterwards. The scent is pleasant and adds to the pleasure of cleaning your interior.
It is a shame, however, that it cannot be diluted (even 1:1) — or at least it would need to be tested, as the product's price of €15 ready-to-use may put off quite a few people, even if product consumption is low.

In the end, this duo of products works wonderfully and will suit all those who want a solution that is easy to apply. Impossible to go wrong!
