Description

Road bikes and mountain bikes can be put through tough conditions. Greasy roads, rainy weather, dust. In order to clean your bikes more easily, HENDLEX has developed a special kit to protect your frame, rims and even helmet with a long-lasting ceramic coating.

Bike Care Set is suitable for painted, glossy or matte surfaces, raw or painted plastics, carbon, stickers, PPF, and metallic surfaces.

Once protected with Bike Care Set, your surfaces can be cleaned more easily, including with a pressure washer. The hydrophobic effect created will make cleaning very easy, even on stubborn dirt. The surfaces will also come out looking much shinier.

Bike Care Set will also help reinforce surface hardness, thus limiting the risk of micro-scratches from a wash mitt or microfiber.

A 15ml bottle of ceramic will allow you to apply 2 coats on one bike or treat two complete bikes.

The durability announced by HENDLEX for the product reaches 2 years, which is very impressive given the constraints a bike can endure.

The application is very straightforward and can be perfectly carried out by an amateur with no experience in ceramic coating application.

Please note that matte coated surfaces may become slightly satin but remain matte.

How to use the HENDLEX Bike Care Set?

  1. Attach the spray trigger to the Surface Prepare Cleaner bottle.
  2. Clean your surfaces by spraying Surface Prepare Cleaner and wiping with a clean microfiber towel.
  3. Wait until surfaces are completely dry (~5 min) before applying the ceramic coating.
  4. Shake the Ceramic Coating bottle.
  5. Apply 5-6 drops of product onto the supplied circular applicator. Always keep the applicator moist; do not hesitate to add 5-6 drops per treated section.
  6. Spread in straight, overlapping motions from edge to edge without missing any spots; coverage must be uniform and complete.
  7. Allow to flash for 1 to 3 min depending on temperature (1 min for T>24°C and 3 min for T<24°C). Never apply the coating if ambient temperature exceeds 30°C.
  8. Thoroughly wipe off the coating with a fresh microfiber towel (e.g., Cocktail Microfibers Black Velvet).
  9. Complete coating cure after 12h (if T>22°C), otherwise 24h (if T<22°C).

A 2nd coat can be applied. Wait at least 1 hour between coats.

Do not wash the bike for 7 days after applying the coating.

Tip: Never apply the coating in direct sunlight. Make sure to perform a streak-free wipe-down, using 2 microfiber towels if needed.
