Description

This 125mm (5') diameter backing plate offered by RUPES is truly of exceptional build quality. Usable exclusively on rotary polishers such as the brand's LH19E, its soft foam interface will allow the detailer to tackle curved surfaces very easily and confidently.

Thanks to its design and the materials used, this high-quality backing plate can handle rotation speeds of up to 4000 rpm, more than enough to work with your favorite compounds.

Fitted with a standard M14 threaded metal insert for rotary machines, it will therefore be suitable for any rotary machine and not just the RUPES LH19E.

Backing plate to be used with foam pads dedicated to rotary machines or wool pads (Woolpad).

How do you use the RUPES M14 125MM 5" Velcro backing plate for rotary polishers ?

  1. Backing plate for use on a rotary machine, such as the RUPES LH19E, or any rotary machine.
  2. Tighten the backing plate securely by locking the polisher head with the push button. Tighten the backing plate securely.
  3. Choose a foam or wool pad suitable for rotary machines and for the work you wish to carry out (correction or finishing).
  4. Center your pad on the backing plate.

Tip: Remember to check the tightness of your backing plate regularly. Always carefully peel the pad away from the backing plate to avoid damaging its hook-and-loop backing.
