Description

Stop Rain-617 is a glass surface protection product developed by Fictech. It significantly improves visibility in rain, snow and icy conditions thanks to its technology designed for glass surfaces.

It forms a chemical bond with the glass and protects treated surfaces for 6 months by providing a hydrophobic film that improves road visibility.

Stop Rain-617 can also be used as a complement to a ceramic treatment Car Lift XPert Windshield-610 to boost the hydrophobic film.

Very easy to use, it is a sprayable solution, less demanding than a full ceramic treatment.
Remember to perfectly prepare your surfaces before applying Stop Rain-617 (polishing, degreasing).

How do you use FICTECH Stop Rain-617?

  1. Preparation: Ensure that you thoroughly prepare the surfaces with a surface polish (e.g., Autoglym Car Glass Polish) and thoroughly degrease them with an Iso alcohol-based solution (e.g., Fictech Paddock-302) before applying the product. 
  2. Application: Ideally, spray Stop Rain-617 onto a microfiber pad. Apply to the windshield using circular motions.
  3. Wiping: Wipe with a new double-sided microfiber towel (e.g., Black Velvet) after approximately one minute of dwell time. A second finishing wipe with a glass microfiber towel will be required (e.g., Microfiber Glass). If necessary, you can use a small amount of glass cleaner to perfect the wipe-down.
  4. Keep dry: Keep the vehicle dry for at least 2 hours after application.

Tip: For best results, apply Stop Rain-617 in the shade. Reapply every 3–4 months.

Care instructions

After application, always wipe off the product; never allow it to dry on treated surfaces without wiping. Reapply the product every 3–4 months (3000/5000 km).

Storage and handling conditions: Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Close the bottle tightly after use.
