The Gtechniq G1 ClearVision Smart Glass is a ceramic treatment applied to windows and designed for long-lasting durability (up to 2 years or 45,000 km). 

G1 ClearVision Smart Glass creates an invisible film that repels rain, snow and hail. Ideal for all glazed surfaces and headlights. In addition, it allows for easier cleaning of glazed surfaces afterwards.

Makes driving safer and less tiring in rainy conditions. The G2 is a solvent to be used to remove excess G1.
Nano-Technology formula, 15ml per windshield. Do not apply in direct sunlight or at temperatures below 5°C.

Triple-coat application recommended for windshields and single-coat on other windows.

How to use G1-G2 Clear Vision Smart Glass 100ml from GTECHNIQ?

Ensure you are working in a well-ventilated area, at a temperature of 5°C or higher.

Wear gloves and do not apply in direct sunlight.

  1. Ensure the surface to be treated is completely clean and smooth. If necessary, polish the glass with G4 Glass Polish. Then wipe down with G6 Perfect Glass.
  2. Clean all glass surfaces to be coated using G6 Perfect Glass and a Gtechniq MF5 Power Glass cloth or any dedicated glass microfiber towel.
  3. Shake the bottle of G1 Smart Glass well before use.
  4. For windshields, we recommend applying 3 coats of G1 Smart Glass, but for side and rear windows, a single coat is sufficient.
  5. Apply a generous amount of G1 onto a cotton applicator pad.
  6. Work the product into the glass in a circular motion covering the entire glass area and allow to cure for a maximum of 5 minutes.
  7. Using a fresh cotton applicator, apply the same amount of product onto the pad, but this time apply G1 over your previous coat in a side-to-side motion; allow another 5 minutes to cure.
  8. Apply your 3rd coat using the same amount of product on a cotton applicator, but this time apply in straight vertical lines; allow to dry for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove cured residue with G2 Residue Remover. Dab G2 Smart Glass onto the remaining applicator pad, apply over a small area at a time, then immediately buff the glass with a fresh microfiber towel.
  10. Finish by cleaning the wiper blades and glass with G6 Perfect Glass.
  11. We recommend applying a coat of G1 Smart Glass to your wiper blades without removing the residue. If the wiper blades are worn, they should be replaced.

Do not expose your vehicle to the elements for at least 3 hours.

Use G1 and G2 Smart Glass within 3 months of opening.

Wiper blade chatter may occur; in 90% of cases, this will disappear within two weeks. Please check our FAQ section if the issue persists.

Tip: Never apply on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight. Do not allow to dry for too long on the surface. Store in a cool, dry place.

Care instructions

After application, avoid exposing the vehicle to water for 3 hours. Afterward, use pH-neutral shampoos and suitable glass cleaners (G6 Perfect Glass).

  • Storage: Store product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.​
  • Shelf Life: Use product within 3 months after opening and within 12 months if unopened.​
  • Handling: Wear gloves during application and avoid contact with skin and eyes.​
