Description

Ultra Glaco is a hydrophobic coating for automotive glass, recognized for its exceptional durability of up to 12 months. Thanks to its unique Fusso technology, based on fluorinated polymers, Ultra Glaco provides remarkable resistance to extreme weather conditions and powerful chemicals. During rain, it disperses water at speeds as low as 55-60 km/h, thus improving visibility. In addition, it reduces dirt adhesion, simplifies the removal of insect residue in summer and prevents frost from sticking in winter.

Soft 99 claims a durability 6 times superior to its competitors. Ultra Glaco resists harsh weather, windshield wipers and repeated washes.

Surface preparation will be key to ensuring good durability of the treatment afterward. Make sure to thoroughly clean and degrease your surfaces on a new vehicle with an alcohol-based solution (CARPRO Eraser for example). For a vehicle that has already been used, you will also need to clay bar (Yellow Clay Bar from Valet Pro for example) and polish the glass surfaces before degreasing with alcohol (SOFT99 Glass Compound Z). This will ensure good adhesion of the Ultra Glaco treatment.

How do you use Soft99 Ultra Glaco?

  1. Wash the windshield thoroughly and dry it completely.
  2. Spray isopropyl alcohol (IPA/Cleaner), then wipe thoroughly before applying Ultra Glaco.
  3. Shake the Ultra Glaco bottle before application.
  4. Remove the cap and apply the product evenly to the dry windshield surface.
  5. Allow the product to dry for approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. Use a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe and polish the windshield. 
  7. For optimal protection, apply a second coat after 24 hours.
  8. Do not expose the windshield to water or rain for at least 12 hours after application.

Tips: 

  • Preferably use Glass Compound Z by SOFT99 to prepare the surface before applying Ultra Glaco.
  • For best results, apply Ultra Glaco in an area sheltered from direct sunlight and dust.
  • Apply in dry weather for best results and work on clean, ideally prepared glass.
