Diamond Wheels is a high-technology nano-diamond coating from the Swiss brand Diamond Protech, designed to provide unparalleled protection for rims, suspension components, underbodies and engines. Thanks to its incredible heat resistance of up to 1,000°C (1,832°F), this coating is suitable even for the extreme conditions of Formula 1 racing cars. Not only does it offer heat protection, but it also delivers intense shine, exceptional hydrophobicity, and outstanding resistance to UV and chemicals. Diamond Wheels holds up very well against the alkaline washing foams found in high-pressure car wash stations.

Easy to apply in a single coat, this coating is accessible to both professional detailers and beginners alike, thanks to its high error tolerance. It guarantees an impressive and long-lasting aesthetic result.

How to use Diamond Protech Diamond Wheels?

  1. Properly prepare the surfaces to be treated (chemical and mechanical decontamination, polishing).
  2. Thoroughly degrease afterward with an IPA-based panel wipe (e.g., Diamond Body Prep).
  3. Shake the Diamond Wheels bottle for 15 seconds before opening. Apply about 8 to 10 drops of product onto an applicator (e.g., GTechniq AP2 Applicator Pad).
  4. Apply the coating evenly over the wheel. Reapply additional drops as necessary.
  5. Wait 1 to 3 minutes, then wipe off excess product with a quality dual-sided microfiber towel (e.g., Red Velvet). A hazy appearance indicates that the coating is ready to be buffed off.
  6. If you waited too long and wiping off becomes difficult, reapply Diamond Wheels over the affected area and wipe off immediately.

Tip: You can apply a second coat 1 hour after the first.

With a 1-hour curing time, you can drive your vehicle 1 hour after wiping off the final coat!
