Instructions for use
  1. Fit the carrying strap onto the unit.
  2. Connect the hose to the lance and to the bottom fitting of the tank.
  3. Fill the tank up to the maximum mark indicated on the model. Screw the entire pump assembly firmly onto the tank.
  4. Pressurize the unit by pumping approximately 20 times. The safety valve will indicate the pressure level in the tank. When the indicator is green, pressure is sufficient; when the indicator turns red, excess pressure will automatically release upon reaching its maximum limit.

Chemicals Compatible with IK ALK 9:

Optimal: Alkaline products, alcohols, disinfectants, and ketones

Limited: pH-neutral products

To cover all alkaline products, alcohols, and ketones, two lances are included.

We recommend the stainless steel lance for spraying:

  • Acetic acid (20%), acetone, ammonia, and alcohols.

We recommend the plastic lance for spraying:

  •  Sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite, iodine, and other alkaline substances.

Care instructions
  1. After each use, depressurize the sprayer and rinse it thoroughly.
  2. Collect and dispose of chemical waste in accordance with applicable environmental laws and standards.
  3. In case of nozzle clogging, rinse with clean water without using metal tools or objects.
  4. If the lance handle filter becomes clogged, disassemble it and clean it with water.
  5. Store your sprayer indoors to protect from frost and extreme heat (between 5°C and 30°C).
  6. To extend seal life, periodically lubricate moving parts of the sprayer.
