RENOVA from the Italian brand LABOCOSMETICA is an acid-based shampoo designed to decontaminate PPF films and wraps from limescale deposits and other industrial pollutants that clog the film pores.

The observation from film installers was clear: PPF turns yellow, becomes difficult to clean as if the grime is embedded inside, insect marks stain the film, etc.

RENOVA was therefore developed as a direct response to these issues.

The acidity of RENOVA's formula is perfectly controlled and will not alter the surface of the films, their gloss, or cause any long-term dullness.

The lubrication of RENOVA has also been carefully engineered to promote glove glide on delicate finishes.

RENOVA can be used as a regular maintenance shampoo or locally on an area with heavy limescale build-up.

This acid shampoo should be used periodically as a complement to a pH-neutral shampoo (e.g. Semper) in order to regularly detoxify the film from the various pollutants that alter its hydrophobic properties.

How do you use RENOVA by Labocosmetica?

Hand wash (dilution 1:50)

  1. Dilute 20 ml of product in 10 liters of water.
  2. Apply using a highly lubricating microfiber mitt.
  3. Work the surface in sections, proceeding from top to bottom.
  4. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Dry with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.

    Intensive spot treatment (dilution 1:10)

    1. Dilute 100 ml of product in 1 liter of water.
    2. Apply to areas contaminated with mineral residue or limescale.
    3. Allow to dwell for a maximum of 60 seconds.
    4. Rinse immediately.

    Maintenance shampoo for PPF (dilution 1:200)

    1. Dilute 5 ml of product in 1 liter of water (50 ml in 10 liters).
    2. Apply using a mitt or sponge to an already wet surface.
    3. Work evenly and rinse thoroughly.

    Booster on a microfiber mitt (dilution 1:5)

    1. Dilute 200 ml of product in 1 liter of water.
    2. Pour the solution directly onto the microfiber mitt.
    3. Pass the mitt over the surface section by section to restore hydrophobicity and gloss.

    Do not allow to dry; rinse immediately after application.

    Degreasing spray for wheels or critical areas (dilution 1:5)

    1. Dilute 200 ml of product in 1 liter of water.
    2. Apply directly to wheels or contaminated areas using a sprayer.
    3. Work with a soft-bristle brush.
    4. Rinse thoroughly.

    Check compatibility beforehand on delicate surfaces.

    Tip: Never apply to a hot surface or in direct sunlight. Do not allow it to dry on the surface for too long.
