Description

Some protective films (PPF) and wraps in general do not offer ceramic protection infused into the material and can therefore age poorly due to UV rays and external aggressions such as repeated alkaline washes. In order to provide perfect protection, lasting up to 18 months, DIAMOND PROTECH has developed Diamond Wrap PPF&Vinyl, offered here as a single vial and not as a kit.

Diamond Wrap PPF&Vinyl will not change the matte appearance of films applied to your vehicles, and will allow a glossier effect on shiny coatings.

Very easy to apply in a single coat (notable time saving), you will achieve a much silkier film feel in the end. Note that the self-healing or thermo-healing effect will not be altered after application of the product.

The hydrophobic effect created after application of Diamond Wrap PPF&Vinyl will make your future washes much easier. The solar filtration provided by Diamond Wrap PPF&Vinyl will also ensure excellent aging of the film whatever it may be: PVC, PU.

A perfect degreasing of the film with Body Prep will be necessary before applying Diamond Wrap PPF&Vinyl.

Remember to keep the vehicle dry for a minimum of 1 hour before exposing the surfaces to water (although DIAMOND PROTECH announces immediate availability after wiping).
Then wait 10 days before proceeding with the first chemical wash of your vehicle.

How to use DIAMOND PROTECH Wrap PPF&Vinyl?

  1. Preparation: Begin by thoroughly degreasing the film with Body Prep and a microfiber cloth. Surfaces must be perfectly clean and dry.
  2. Agitation: Shake the Diamond Wrap PPF&Vinyl bottle for a few seconds.
  3. Application: Pour approximately 10 to 15 drops of Diamond Wrap PPF&Vinyl onto a microfiber applicator (e.g. Applicator Ultra Premium White by Cocktail Microfibers). Work on sections of approximately 60 x 60 cm. Treat one complete panel at a time.
  4. Flashing: Allow the solvents to evaporate until a haze appears. This will occur within 1–3 minutes depending on temperature and humidity conditions.
  5. Wipe-off: Wipe off with a good-quality microfiber, ideally dual-density (e.g. Black Velvet by Cocktail Microfibers). Turn your microfiber regularly. If needed, switch to a fresh one as soon as you feel the first is saturated.

Tip: For best results, apply DIAMOND PROTECH Wrap PPF&Vinyl on cold surfaces, in the shade, in a controlled environment with a temperature between 10–30 °C and humidity below 70%.

Care instructions

After application, always wipe the product nozzle. Never reuse the microfiber applicator or microfiber cloth afterwards. If you notice wipe marks after application, reload the applicator with a few drops and reapply to the area, wiping carefully again.

Storage and handling conditions: Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Close the bottle securely after use.
