Profiline Headlight Polish
Specific polish for polycarbonate headlight lenses.
250ml.
from €100 of purchase.
Dulling and oxidation of polycarbonate headlight lenses is a frequently encountered phenomenon on modern vehicles equipped with this type of lighting.
The result is a loss of lighting output, and in the most severe cases of oxidation, a failed roadworthiness inspection due to insufficient lighting.
SONAX has developed a specific polish for this material, Profiline Headlight Polish, to provide an abrasive solution usable with a machine polisher that permanently removes light oxidation marks from polycarbonate.
It will also remove light to moderate defects (micro-scratches, scratches) effortlessly with an orbital or rotary polisher.
Headlight Polish is part of the Profiline range, featuring "Low Dust" technology, which allows very little dust during polishing work, thanks in particular to its fairly liquid texture.
Please note, however, that in cases of severe polycarbonate oxidation (thick yellow crust on the surface), a full sanding of the lens will be necessary before using Headlight Polish, particularly with the brand's complete Profiline Headlight Restoration Kit.
Available in 250ml.
Hazardous. Follow usage precautions.
Sonax is a famous German car care brand, renowned in particular for its polishes such as CutMax, Perfect Finish and Cut & Finish, as well as its Quick Detailer Brilliant Shine Detailer.
1. Thoroughly prepare the headlight for treatment (wash, decontaminate, degrease). 2. Mask off the surrounding area of the headlight with masking tape. 3. Apply Headlight Polish onto a hard pad and work by machine (dual-action or rotary) in small sections using slow passes. 4. Thoroughly wipe down the area with a microfiber towel.
