Chemical Guys developed the V34-V36-V38 range with the aim of correcting the hard clear coats found on German manufacturer vehicles.

V36 Optical Cut - Optical Grade Cut Polish is the intermediate polish in Chemical Guys' V34-36-38 range. After removing heavy imperfections with the V34, the V36 tackles medium defects and other imperfections. Abrasive grit: 2500.

It eliminates swirl marks, swirls, and holograms: V36 delivers a perfect finish.

Designed to work without added oils, silicones, or other additives, V34-V36-V38 optimizes results while reducing working time. No more spending hours correcting a German vehicle.

Removing defects from a Mercedes, Corvette, BMW, or Nissan clear coat can be a challenging task. In recent years, these vehicles have been equipped with scratch-resistant technology using a ceramic clear coat.

This has the advantage of being very useful during daily use of a vehicle but becomes a real headache when it comes to correcting even the slightest imperfection — not anymore!

Instructions for use

How to use Chemical Guys V36 Optical Grade?

  1. Shake well and apply 4 to 5 drops to the desired pad, mist the pad with Polishing Pad Conditioner.
  2. Dab the product evenly over a 60cm x 60cm section of the bodywork.
  3. Start the machine on the paint at speed 2 or 3 to spread the product. Increase the speed to 5-6 using moderate pressure.
  4. Work the area in 2-3 passes until the product turns clear.
  5. Continue with light pressure to finish working the polish.
  6. Remove polish residue with a clean microfiber towel.
