Hybrid Ceramic pre-Wax Prep by Meguiar's is a cream compound that detoxifies and thoroughly cleans a paint finish before applying a synthetic protection treatment such as the brand's Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax.

One of the many advantages of using Hybrid Ceramic Pre-Wax Prep is that in addition to preparing the surface, it allows for a very light correction of surface defects such as swirl marks and light oxidation haze. The finish will thus be brilliant, much like a finishing polish.

An excellent preparation product, easy to wipe off, that will provide much better adhesion for the brand's synthetic treatments. The SiO2 content of Hybrid Ceramic Pre-Wax Prep Paint Preparation will also enhance the durability and resistance of the protection treatments applied afterwards.

Instructions for use

How do you use Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Pre-Wax Prep?

Prepare your paintwork (wash/decontamination/drying).

For hand application

  1. Apply a small amount of Hybrid Ceramic Paint Preparation to a foam or microfiber applicator (e.g., Foam Applicator/Microfiber Applicator).
  2. Apply in circular motions, panel by panel, over sections of approximately 60x60cm. Apply moderate pressure.
  3. Wipe off the product with a clean, dry microfiber towel. Do not allow to dry.
  4. Work panel by panel, and repeat the process on the dullest areas.

For machine use:

  1. Use a finishing pad (such as the Alchimy7 Mousse F-Rose) or a wax application pad (such as the Alchimy7 Mousse UF-Red).
  2. Apply Hybrid Ceramic Paint Preparation in a circle around the outer edge of the pad.
  3. Work at speed 3 using a dual-action polisher, in straight-line cross-hatch passes.
  4. Wipe off the product with a clean, dry microfiber towel. Do not allow to dry.
  5. Work panel by panel, and repeat the process on the dullest areas.
