Description

Many different polishing pads are available on the detailing market. Lake Country pads are known for their effectiveness. The front face of these pads features several strategically placed holes. These holes act as a product storage system that allows you to use less product for longer and more efficiently.

The Lake Country 5.5 Inch (for 125mm backing plates) polishing pads are easy to use and deliver excellent results. The cushions are designed for all paint types. They are just as effective on very hard clear coats used by German manufacturers (although everything depends on the product used).

PAD DESCRIPTIONS

Lake Country Yellow is ideal for heavy correction work. This pad offers good grip on paint defects and will remove deep scratches. It leaves some marks after polishing. It is the best choice if you want to eliminate defects, but a finishing pad will need to be used afterward.

Lake Country Orange is ideal for removing fairly deep micro-scratches and other imperfections. This pad offers good grip on paint defects that will come off easily. It leaves some holograms behind.

Lake Country White is ideal for removing holograms and swirl marks. This pad has a slight abrasive property and can be used to apply a pre-wax cleaner. It leaves no marks after polishing. It is the best choice if you want to prepare your bodywork for a wax application.

Lake Country Black is ideal for applying a glaze to the bodywork. It delivers impressive buffing quality. It can be used as a soft polishing pad. It is the best choice if you want to protect your bodywork.

Lake Country Blue is an even softer finishing pad than the Black. It should only be used to apply a glaze, sealant or wax.
