The Fictech 914 – Acid Shampoo is a wash shampoo with acid action designed to help dissolve mineral haze (hard water marks/limescale film) and ingrained dirt that dulls the paintwork. Its formula promotes effective cleaning while helping to restore a cleaner surface and a shinier finish after rinsing.

Ideal for occasional maintenance or a "corrective wash", it is used on exterior surfaces (paintwork, exposed areas) when neutral shampoos show their limits against mineral deposits. Used with the right method (working in the shade, on a cool panel, with careful rinsing), it integrates perfectly into a detailing routine focused on decontamination and visual restoration.

Instructions for use

How to use Fictech 914 – Acid Shampoo?

  1. Work in the shade on a cool vehicle.

  2. Perform a thorough pre-rinse to remove the bulk of the dirt.

  3. Dilute the product according to your wash method (bucket/foam) following your usual acid shampoo dilution ratios.

  4. Wash panel by panel using a microfiber wash mitt (two-bucket method recommended).

  5. Allow to dwell very briefly if necessary, without ever letting it dry.

  6. Rinse thoroughly (ideally with a pressure washer) until completely removed.

  7. Dry with a drying microfiber towel to prevent water spots from reappearing.

Tips:

  • On heavily marked areas, perform a spot test before treating the entire vehicle.

  • After an acid shampoo, a subsequent pH-neutral wash helps stabilize the maintenance routine.
