Description
Iron X CarPro is a neutral pH (acid-free) ferrous decontaminant that decontaminates the paintwork as well as the wheels. Brake pads and other road contaminants develop ferrous particles that cling to your bodywork and pollute the surface. Clay bars remove these particles but do not neutralize their effects. Corrosion may already be embedded in the surface.
The only way to truly eliminate these ferrous particles is to use a genuine decontaminant like Iron X. It opens the pores of the paint in order to loosen the embedded particles and neutralizes the effects of corrosion.
IronX can be used on all painted parts of your bodywork as well as on clear-coated wheels, glass, etc.
Carpro Iron X is very easy to use and its reaction upon contact with ferrous particles is immediately visible: the liquid in the Iron X bottle is transparent but turns purple as soon as it comes into contact with iron particles.
After allowing 2–3 minutes of dwell time, agitate with the accessories of your choice (mitt, wheel brushes, detailing brushes, etc.) and wipe the surface. Rinse thoroughly.

How to use CARPRO IRON X?
- Wash and rinse the vehicle, then remove most of the water using a drying towel.
- Spray onto the surface.
- Wait 2–3 minutes for the product to turn purple.
- Gently agitate with a brush if necessary.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water without letting the product dry on the surface.
Caution: Always apply to a cool surface.
Do not use on chrome or other bare metal, and test on repainted areas! When in doubt, it is best to mask off these areas.
