Description

This Ultimate Ferrous Decontamination Spray by Meguiar's will allow you to quickly and effectively remove ferrous particles that deposit on your bodywork, wheels and other surfaces.
During braking, brake dust deposits on your wheels, sills, and industrial fallout and exhaust soot also heavily contaminate bodywork, whether protected or not. Regular ferrous chemical decontamination is the best way to maintain your paint finish.

These ferrous particles are often deeply embedded in paint finishes and no shampoo, APC or degreaser can tackle them. Ultimate Ferrous Decontamination Spray by Meguiar's is the solution!

Must be applied before applying a gloss enhancer, wax or any finishing product.

Ultimate Ferrous Decontamination Spray by Meguiar's should be applied directly onto the surface and left to work until a purplish haze appears, a sign that the product is dissolving the ferrous particles. Then agitate with a wash mitt, brush or detailing brush to add mechanical action to the already formidable chemical action of the product.

On bodywork, we strongly recommend applying it once the surfaces have been washed and dried, then agitating with a wash mitt. Then rinse thoroughly with water.

The neutral pH of the product will not affect the protections you may apply to your bodywork or wheels.

How to properly use Meguiar's Ultimate Iron Decon Spray?

On Paintwork/Glass/Plastics and various exterior surfaces:

  1. Thoroughly clean the surfaces using a shampoo at the appropriate dilution.
  2. Spray directly onto the surfaces.
  3. Wait until the product turns dark purple.
  4. Agitate if possible with a mitt, detailing brush, or wheel brush.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water.

Tip: Never use the product on a hot surface or in direct sunlight.
